Hi, I’m Sabin Babu, a freelance wedding and Kochi Based Photographer. I specialize in creating creative, emotional, and natural wedding photographs and films that feel real, cinematic, and deeply personal. For me, weddings aren’t just events — they are once-in-a-lifetime moments filled with love, anticipation, and meaningful connections.

My Story — How My Journey Began

My journey into photography started early. When I was 14, I received my first compact camera as a birthday gift — and that single moment quietly changed everything. What began as curiosity soon became passion.

By the age of 17, I started taking on small gigs, learning through real-world experience, experimentation, and countless hours behind the lens. Over time, photography evolved from a hobby into a craft I deeply respected and committed to mastering, driven by constant learning, creative challenges, and a genuine desire to tell meaningful visual stories.

A few key milestones shaped my creative growth. I had the opportunity to work with Social PR, one of Kerala’s most elite influencer management agencies, where I learned to create visually impactful content under professional standards. I also worked with JD Institute of Fashion Technology, covering their student graduation fashion show — an experience that refined my sense of style, composition, and storytelling.

Eventually, my journey naturally led me to wedding photography. Now, as a Kochi Based Photographer, I’ve realized that weddings combine everything I love — emotion, storytelling, people, beauty, and authenticity. Capturing real moments on someone’s most important day feels meaningful, fulfilling, and deeply rewarding. It pushed me to approach each wedding with sensitivity, patience, and intent, ensuring every frame reflects genuine connections, quiet in-between moments, and timeless memories couples can revisit for years to come.

I see weddings as one of the most important days in a couple’s life — a day filled with emotions that can never be recreated. My responsibility is to capture those moments with care, respect, and honesty.

My approach is unobtrusive and candid. I focus on genuine expressions, unscripted moments, and natural interactions rather than forced poses. I believe the best photographs happen when people are simply being themselves.

I work across multiple genres including weddings, lifestyle, portraits, fashion, and personal branding. My focus is on storytelling—capturing natural moments, real emotions, and visuals that feel timeless rather than overly posed.

2. What is your photography style?

My style blends natural light, candid expressions, and cinematic composition. I aim for images that feel authentic and emotionally driven, with a balance of artistic detail and modern aesthetics.

3. Do you guide clients during shoots or keep it candid?

I do both. I gently guide you when needed—especially for portraits and fashion—while allowing space for genuine moments to unfold naturally. The goal is to make you feel comfortable, not stiff or over-posed.

4. Do you take on different types of projects or only weddings?

While weddings are a big part of my work, I also regularly shoot lifestyle sessions, portraits, fashion editorials, and personal branding projects. I enjoy working on diverse creative briefs and tailoring each shoot to the client’s vision.

5. How do you approach working with clients?

Collaboration is key. I take time to understand your story, preferences, and purpose for the shoot. From planning to final delivery, I keep the process transparent, relaxed, and creatively aligned with your expectations.
